We admit children from the age of 3 to our preschool. Visit our open days to find out more about Montessori education and to see the preschool classrooms in Prague 1 or Prague 6.
What will it look like
- Make an appointment
Upon receipt of your expression of interest in our preschool, we will contact you to confirm the date of your visit. Please complete the form and tell us more about yourself and what you are looking for. After you fill out the form, we will get back to you shortly.
- Meeting with parents
An individual meeting between a child’s parents and the preschool management is a condition for a child to be admitted. This meeting is still without the baby. The purpose of such an interview is to ensure that the education services offered by our school match the requirements of the parents and to verify suitability of our school education program for the given child. This personal meeting takes place before the date of enrollment and we subsequently send all important information regarding enrollment via email. The only condition for the admission of a child is that the meeting takes place; its content or results have no influence on the admission.
- Enrollment
The application must be submitted before enrollment (after downloading you can edit the document). In order to be able to meet with the preschool management, we recommend that you submit a preliminary application by April 19, 2024.
Enrollment for the 2024/25 school year will take place on May 13 through 15, 2024.We will look forward to meeting your child at enrollment. You will need to submit a completed registration sheet with a confirmation regarding your child’s mandatory vaccination and eligibility for preschool attendance issued by your child’s pediatrician. We can only accept children who have completed mandatory vaccination (according to the Czech Republic's vaccination calendar) and submit a certificate confirming that he/she is immune to the relevant infectious diseases or cannot be vaccinated due to a permanent contraindication. This does not apply to children who will reach the age of 5 by August 31, 2024 and register for mandatory preschool education. Admission of a child with special medical needs lies within the discretion of the preschool director and is based on a request from the child’s legal representative or statement by a physician, special pedagogical center, or pedagogical-psychological counseling center.

- We cannot avoid paperwork
Within 30 days of enrollment we will send you our decision regarding the acceptance of your child to our preschool along with a preview of the contract and other documents to be completed. We will make an appointment to sign the contract and hand you the remaining documents. By signing the contract, you commit to the payment of tuition fees for one month. Your child’s attendance program, including meals, will be agreed upon the admission of your child to our preschool.
